"On behalf of the survivors of domestic and sexual violence, I would like to thank Girls for Global Growth for their donation of the S.I.S.T.E.R. Seminar -- 'Sisters Influencing Sisters through Encouragement and Respect' -- given on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the YWCA Interim House. The seminar panel discussion topics were uplifting, encouraging and thought provoking. Our residents especially appreciated the interactive portions of the presentation. In addition, your group's donation of much needed toiletries on that day was greatly appreciated. It is through the thoughtful generosity of community partners like Girls for Global Growth that we continue to provide temporary emergency shelter and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Again, thank you so much for your commitment to support the YWCA Interim House program."
